Combine satellite distress alerting, AIS localisation, 121.5 MHz homing and Return Link Service in one emergency beacon.
The NSR NEB-3000 is a new-generation AIS EPIRB with integrated multi-constellation GNSS and RLS capability. It is offered for manual-bracket or float-free installation and supports automatic hydrostatic deployment.
Key benefits
- Return Link Service: RLS capability can confirm that the distress alert has been detected by the satellite system.
- Layered localisation: Combines 406 MHz alerting, AIS position transmission, GNSS and a 121.5 MHz homing signal.
- Float-free option: An automatic enclosure can release the beacon at a maximum depth of 4 m.
Compatibility and installation
Confirm the selected manual or float-free configuration, beacon coding, registration and applicable carriage approval before installation. Battery, hydrostatic release and inspection intervals must follow official NSR instructions.
