The AIS (Automatic Identification System) communication system allows every vessel transmitting this signal to be located and identified by monitoring, on predefined marine VHF frequencies, the movements, name, and direction of vessels. AIS communication uses two dedicated VHF channels, 161.975 MHz and 162.025 MHz.
The KM-30F antenna is specifically designed for sailing boats and specifically tuned to AIS frequencies. It combines lightness and flexibility with exceptional resistance to weather conditions. The antenna is supplied with a 3 mm thick stainless steel mounting bracket, ensuring quick and secure installation on the mast.
- Waterproof SO 239 connector
- Stainless steel bracket supplied with the antenna
